This silhouette was inspired by watching the joy of the run. The painting embodies the wild feeling of an all-out gallop — inside the head of the horse. Although there is no jockey, I envisioned one astride as I painted. This painting is dedicated to the fabulous breed that loves to be busy doing a job. It is the first of a set celebrating the transformation of an OTTB (off the track thoroughbred) from racehorse, to rescue, to a second forever home.
